An additional thought to this morning’s post. Undoubtedly, repealing the ban on federal funding of embryonic stem cell research is popular. [1] This does not make a persuasive argument to me.

Just because something is popular does not mean it is also right. Concurrently, just because something is right does not mean that it will also be popular. This generally appears to be the case with the toughest questions, which makes our response as a nation to said questions that much more important.
