Nothing on my mind, 22 September 2009

Yup, that’s right. Nobody’s home. My brain has officially shut down for the day. So, enjoy the photo, because that’s all I’ve got for today. Er, yesterday. Aw, screw it; I’m still counting this as today, even though it’s now technically tomorrow. Yes, you read that right.

Photo Information:

Camera: Canon AE-1 Program
Lens: Canon 50mm f/1.4 FD
Film: Ilford HP5+ ISO 400 (shot at EI 1600)
Exposure: TTL metering

Like the swirly patterns? Well, I think they’re neat. This photo, along with being part of the shoot I did using Ilford’s HP5+ at EI 1600, depicts part of the underside of the Cloud Gate sculpture in Chicago’s Millennium Park. The sculpture is made of curved, highly polished (and therefore reflective) metal, so it creates some very interesting reflections on its various surfaces.
