Elizabeth River Sunset, 06 September 2010

Today’s photo should provide a nice counterpoint to the previous post, but I’ll let you figure that one out on your own after you see the photo itself. [1]

Photo Information:

Camera: Nikon D80
Lens: Nikon Nikkor 20mm f/2.8 [2]
ISO Equivalency: 100
Color Setting: Vivid [3]

I must admit, though I no longer reside in the area, I do miss the sunsets I’ve seen over the Elizabeth River in downtown Norfolk.

[1]: Okay, okay…if you really need it spelled out: Sunrise (previous post) to Sunset (today’s post).

[2]: Due to the crop factor of the DX sensors when using full-frame lenses, this lens is approximately 30mm on the D80, rather than its stated focal length.

[3]: As with the previous post, this is more of an exaggeration, rather than a statement of fact, at least as far as these sunset and sunrise photos go.

I could stare at a sunset like this for hours. 🙂

Heh. In fact, I did stare at this sunset for about an hour or so as it evolved. Good thing I didn’t have anything else to do at the time, right? 😉
