10 10 10

2010/10/10

Yes, that’s right…in honor of today’s unique date, I took a photo. Actually, I took several, but I’m only posting one, for now.

Photo Information:

Camera: Nikon D80
Lens: Nikon Nikkor 35mm f/1.8 DX
ISO Equivalency: 100
Color Setting: Vivid

Why, yes…we do have trees in Chicago, and ones whose leaves change colors, at that! Actually, to be fair, there are plenty of trees all over Chicago, especially in the residential neighborhoods, but these particular leaves adorned a tree in the Millennium Park area of downtown.

Not much to say otherwise; I shot this photo with a wide-open aperture, hence the extremely shallow depth of field (the f/1.8 lens really helps here). Other than that, I did a minor amount of post-processing to saturate the colors and adjust the exposure slightly, but otherwise, not much else in the way of fancy techniques.

Enjoy.
