Autumn Stroll, 19 October 2010

Don’t you just love taking a walk in autumn, with all the colorful trees and soggy weather?

Photo Information:

Camera: Nikon D80
Lens: Nikon Nikkor 35mm f/1.8
ISO Equivalency: 100
Color Setting: Vivid

Okay, so some of y’all night not enjoy the soggy weather…but the fog here sure does add to the atmosphere, doesn’t it? Actually, I was on my way home from work and got to watch the fog build up as the ambient temperature dropped, so naturally, I had to take a walk in it. With my camera. As for the man out for a stroll? Just a random guy taking an afternoon walk in Lincoln Park. He probably didn’t even know he ended up in my photo…which is likely not an issue, since you can’t see who he is, anyways. I had originally intended to shoot this photo because of the contrast between the tree on the right and the ones on the left, but after this fellow passed me as I was adjusting my camera settings, I figured that his presence added something to the composition, so in he went. Oh, and isn’t the fog nice?
