2010/11/23

Since it’s getting well on into winter now, I figure some photos of colorful flowers would be appropriate for the season.

Okay, so maybe I have a weird sense of what’s seasonally appropriate. Pretty, though, aren’t they? I found all five of these in the aptly-named Orchid Room in the Lincoln Park Conservatory – hence, the fact that they’re still alive and all, even though the ambient temperature on the day I shot these was somewhere in the mid 40s or so. The Conservatory, OTOH, was rather a bit warmer than that, what with being climate controlled and such.

Enjoy.
