Crazy Tree, 22 February 2011

2011/02/22

Since I mentioned it yesterday, here is the tree that lent its twisted branches to the photo posted therein.

Photo Information:

Location: Chicago Illinois; Uptown Neighborhood (Lincoln Park)
Camera: Nikon D80
Lens: Nikon Nikkor 35mm f/1.8 DX
ISO Equivalency: 100
Color Setting: Vivid

You know what the best part of this is? This extraordinary tree is only a few blocks’ short walk from my apartment, and just a handful of steps from Lake Michigan. It’s a nice location. The only problem is that the tree is on part of the golf course that is part of Lincoln Park in this area, so during the summer when the weather gets better, it’s a little harder to get close up to the tree. During winter, though, it’s easily accessible. I suppose that’s a fair trade-off.

Enjoy
