Before and After, 06 October 2011

2011/10/06

Several months ago, I posted a photo of a dry fountain in the North Loop area, and I thought it would be nice to photograph it when it was actually running. I have since done so, and I figured I’d post a before-and-after comparison.

Photo Information:

Location: Chicago, Illinois; River North Neighborhood
Camera: Zeca Bettax
Lens: Schneider-Kreuznach 105mm f/4.5 Radionar
Film (Photo 1): Fuji Neopan Acros 100 (120)
Film (Photo 2): Ilford PanF+ EI50 (120)

Interesting note about the application of technology and such: I tried to match up the two views as closely as possible (made difficult by the fact that the Bettax only has an indirect waist-level viewfinder), so I looked up the previous post on my phone and used it as a guide. The angles are a little off, but they’re close enough.

Enjoy.
